Force Majeure / Event Cancellation Disclaimer

Exeevent LLC reserves the right to cancel or postpone any event without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (earthquake, flood, fire)
  • Severe weather conditions
  • Public safety threats or terrorism
  • Power outages
  • Technical failures
  • Vendor no-shows
  • Government restrictions or health emergencies

Exeevent LLC is not liable for emotional distress or financial loss due to such cancellations. Clients accept the risk of such unforeseen interruptions.

Cancellation Policy

  • Catering Services & Rentals: Cancellations after booking are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations within 72 hours of the event: Subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
  • Custom Orders & Staffing: All custom catering service, rentals, and staffing bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.
  • Returned Payments: A fee of $75 will be charged for any returned checks or failed transactions.

Tardiness Liability

While we strive to be punctual, Exeevent LLC is not liable for delays caused by:

  • Traffic accidents
  • Road closures
  • Weather conditions
  • Illness or emergency
  • Vehicle failure or other unforeseen events

Clients acknowledge that some delay risks are inherent to event logistics. Emotional distress or damages caused by such delays are not the responsibility of Exeevent LLC.

Damage & Injury Disclaimer

By booking catering services with Exeevent LLC, the client agrees to the following:

  • Exeevent LLC is not liable for injuries or accidents that occur during an event, including but not limited to:
  • Burns from hot food or equipment
  • Trips, falls, or other venue-related injuries
  • Food-related illness
  • Clients are responsible for securing personal belongings during events. Exeevent LLC is not liable for lost or stolen items.

Rental Terms

Delivery & Pickup: Standard delivery for full-service catering is same-day with food service, and pickup is next day between 10 AM – 2 PM.

  • Standard delivery/pick-up fee: $75
  • Separate same-day delivery or pickup: $100 each
  • Specific-time delivery/pick-up: Additional $100

Damaged or Missing Items: Client will be charged the full replacement cost for any lost, stolen, or damaged rental equipment.
